All
things are connected, like the blood that runs in your family "The
water's murmur is the voice of my father's father." 1854 The
rivers are our brothers. They quench our thirst. They carry our
canoes and feed our children. You must give to the rivers the
kindness you would give to any brother. - by Chief

"May what I do flow from me like a river,
no forcing and no holding back,
the way it is with children."

Eventually,
all things merge into one, and a river runs through it.
The
river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over from the
basement of time.
On
some of the rocks are timeless raindrops,
under the rocks are the
words and some of the words are theirs.

Maclean - From A River Runs Through It
To
put your hands in a river is to feel the chords that bind the earth
together."
